This Higher Education Resource Guide provides you with a variety of rubrics, documents, and other materials to help inform strategies, practices, and policies, leading to actionable insights that enhance learning experiences, improve operational efficiencies, and ensure data security and privacy at your institutions.
In the spirit of collaboration, your team of academic, administrative, and technology leaders can use this easy-to-use reference guide and resource center to build a data-informed culture with a seamless and future-ready plug-and-play edtech ecosystem.
1EdTech members participating in the Higher Ed (HED) Innovation Leadership Networks and other member project groups create and evolve these resources to benefit the community at large. You can manage your institutional engagement using this companion template.
Getting Started
- To ensure a healthy and connected technology ecosystem, institutions should require 1EdTech standards certification when purchasing new or renewing educational technology products. The 1EdTech TrustEd Apps Directory is the official listing of products that have met 1EdTech standards and other important privacy, accessibility, AI, and security requirements.
- 1EdTech Global Glossary of Terms: This glossary provides definitions of terms commonly used throughout 1EdTech that users may wish to better understand. It is by no means an exhaustive list of definitions related to our communities, but it has been carefully crafted to facilitate shared understandings of interoperability.
