Ensuring Inclusivity in Edtech: An Accessibility Vetting Rubric for Digital Learning Products

Accessibility is a journey, not a destination, so assessing a posture toward accessibility is equally as important as assessing accessibility conformance. Join us to learn about an accessibility vetting rubric developed through a collaboration of educational institutions and edtech suppliers.

Presenters:

  • Kelly Hermann, Vice President, Accessibility, Equity & Inclusion at the University of Phoenix
  • Kelly Hoyland, Director, Higher Education Programs at 1EdTech

Empowering Learners to Share their Skills with Employers

In today's rapidly changing job market, learners must upskill and reskill to remain competitive. Microcredentials offer a flexible and convenient way for learners to acquire new knowledge and competencies, showcase their abilities to employers, and stand out in the job market.

We’ll explore how credit and non-credit microcredentials empower learners to share their skills and abilities with current or potential employers.

Presenters:

  • Kelly Hoyland, Director, Higher Education Programs at 1EdTech
  • Jo Maseberg-Tomlinson, Interim Director, Program Development and Management at Kansas State Global Campus
