Innovative Tools to Improve Student Success Take Top Honors at Learning Impact

Winners Represent Institutions and Suppliers Innovating to Transform Learning Experiences

LAKE MARY, Florida, June 8, 2023 — Innovative tools to help educators personalize learning and students achieve success took top honors in 1EdTech’s Learning Impact Awards.

1EdTech™ Consortium (1EdTech), the world-leading non-profit collaborative committed to creating an open, trusted and innovative edtech ecosystem, recognized eight edtech projects during the 2023 Learning Impact Conference for their innovations and bold strategies implemented in an educational setting to power unlimited potential in every learner.

Platinum Awards went to Pennsylvania State University’s use of course insights and the University of Central Florida and Realizeit for an adaptive learning program.

Penn State’s Course Insights provides data and analytics to convey learning-related insights to instructors and gives them a holistic view of the student learning experience. This allows instructors to adapt their courses, monitor the impact of those changes over time, and support a reflective teaching process.

University of Central Florida’s Adaptive Learning program provides adaptive learning, online homework and assessment capabilities, making it easier for educators to tailor lessons, and offers more flexibility for students to complete their work.

“The 1EdTech community is constantly looking toward the future of digital teaching and learning and what we need to power learner potential,” said Dr. Rob Abel, 1EdTech CEO. "The Learning Impact Awards program offers exemplary projects with clear evidence of improving learning impact and outcomes that other institutions can replicate. This year’s award winners represent the best of the best, moving us all toward an open, trusted and innovative digital ecosystem.”
